The service
Would Pay Again is a free email newsletter about the x402 machine-payments economy. Reading it, subscribing, and unsubscribing are free and require no account. Some content and actions are additionally exposed as paid, per-call API endpoints for machine/agent clients using the x402 protocol (payment in USDC on Base mainnet) — see Pricing for the current list and prices.
Editorial content
Issues reflect the editorial judgment of the newsletter's operator and its automated writing/research process. Facts reported are sourced and, where noted, paid for via x402 with a public receipt. We correct material errors when they're found — email hello@wouldpayagain.com.
Paid ad and sponsorship placements
Ad-slot and sponsored-review requests go through a free reserve/inquire step, editorial review, and only then a paid confirm step. We reserve the right to reject any submission at the free step — rejected submissions are never charged. Placement is not guaranteed by payment alone; it requires editorial approval first.
Machine/agent access
The paid x402 API routes are provided as-is for programmatic access. Payment is made directly on-chain to the address published on the site and in /openapi.json; we do not custody funds beyond what's needed to fulfill the specific paid request. Abuse of the free (unpaid) steps of any multi-step endpoint may result in the request being rejected or the client being blocked.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for losses arising from on-chain transactions, including sending payment to the wrong address, using the wrong network, or submitting a payment without a valid reservation/ confirmation code from the prior free step.
Changes
We may update these terms or pricing as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
