What we collect
- Email subscribers: your email address, when you subscribed, your subscription status (pending/confirmed), and how you subscribed (free web form or paid x402 route).
- Email delivery: whether an issue you were sent was opened or clicked, via standard tracking pixels/links, so we can tell if the newsletter is reaching real readers.
- Paid x402 requests: the on-chain wallet address and transaction hash of any payment made to a paid API route. On-chain payments are public by nature of the Base blockchain; we don't collect anything beyond what's already on-chain plus whatever you put in a request body (e.g. ad copy, sponsor inquiry details).
- Server logs: standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request path) kept for abuse prevention and debugging.
What we don't collect
- No passwords — there is no account system.
- No credit card or payment-method data — payments are USDC on Base, handled entirely on-chain and by the x402 facilitator, never touching our servers.
- No third-party ad trackers or analytics beyond basic open/click tracking on our own domain.
How we use it
To send you the newsletter, confirm subscriptions, run the paid x402 endpoints (ad slots, sponsored reviews, per-call content access), and keep the service running and free of abuse. We do not sell subscriber data to third parties.
