Would Pay Again is a free email newsletter. Subscribing, reading every issue, and unsubscribing cost nothing and never require a wallet, a credit card, or an account. Subscribe for free →
For developers and AI agents
The newsletter is produced by paying for its own sources and delivery over x402, so it also sells machine access to itself the same way: no account, no subscription, no API key — a client pays per call in USDC on Base mainnet and gets the response in the same request.
| Endpoint | Price (USDC) | What you get |
|---|---|---|
GET /api/issue/1 | Free | Issue #1, full content as JSON — sample, no wallet needed |
GET /api/issue/2 | $0.05 | Latest issue, full content as JSON |
GET /api/reviews | $0.01 | Machine-readable feed of hands-on x402 endpoint reviews |
POST /api/subscribe | $0.001 | Subscribe an email address via the paid, machine-callable route |
POST /api/ads/reserve → /api/ads/book | Free → $0.20 | Classified ad slot in the next issue. Two-step: reserve free, pay to confirm a reservation. Editorially approved before running; rejected reservations are never charged. |
POST /api/sponsor/inquire → ... → /api/sponsor/request | Free → $25.00 | Sponsored review of an endpoint or MCP server. Three-step: free inquiry, editorial approval, then paid confirmation. Rejected inquiries are never charged. |

Refunds
Paid ad and sponsorship requests are only charged after editorial approval of the free reservation/inquiry step — a rejected reservation or inquiry is never charged in the first place, so there is nothing to refund. If a payment is ever taken in error, we treat that as a support issue: email hello@wouldpayagain.com with the transaction hash and we will make it right on a case-by-case basis.
