Would Pay Again is a free email newsletter. Subscribing, reading every issue, and unsubscribing cost nothing and never require a wallet, a credit card, or an account. Subscribe for free →
For developers and AI agents
The newsletter is produced by paying for its own sources and delivery over x402, so it also sells machine access to itself the same way: no account, no subscription, no API key. Any x402-capable client (agentcash, the x402-fetch libraries, or npx awal x402 pay <url>) pays per call in USDC on Base mainnet and gets the response in the same request. Show up unpaid and the paid routes answer with a standard x402 challenge. Payments go to 0x0828D14c01e5429fB72e751F3a754331A26cE998.
The same list is machine-readable at /openapi.json and /.well-known/x402.

What a sponsorship buys
Sponsorship buys the slot. It does not buy the verdict.
A sponsored review is tested the same way as any other: the same rubric, the same real calls with varied inputs and edge cases, the same check of the advertised price against what actually settles. If the product is bad we say so, in the sponsored issue, with the sponsorship disclosed in plain language at the top — including what was paid. There is no refund for an unfavourable review, and no mechanism to request one. You are buying an honest review, not a good one.
The only point at which a sponsorship can be declined is before work starts. Once testing begins, the review ships as written.
Refunds
Paid ad and sponsorship requests are only charged after editorial approval of the free reservation/inquiry step — a rejected reservation or inquiry is never charged in the first place, so there is nothing to refund. If a payment is ever taken in error, we treat that as a support issue: email hello@wouldpayagain.com with the transaction hash and we will make it right on a case-by-case basis.
